Smug

I’m feeling very, very self-satisfied. Today, so far, I’ve had breakfast, gone to the gym and done a rather impressive workout (for someone who’s had heart surgery recently, anyhow), gotten home (an achievement in itself in these parts, via public transport), written two blog posts, and taken delivery of a fortnight’s worth of fruit, veg and assorted other bits n pieces. Sensational, eh?

Let’s just leave out the bits about having a bucket of chips and a brownie for lunch, and not having done a scrap of housework. Beside the point. Or as my husband likes to say – Why let facts get in the way of a good story?

  1. Congratulations on making it to the gym!! Just forget about the brownies and the chips – they are not important. Getting off your butt and exercising is.

  2. Yup, that’s what I figure too! 🙂 And besides, I was STARVING! Me starving = not good. Houses fall down. Small children flee in terror. So do adults. 😉
